Geotechnical
Introduction
Geotechnical engineering is a branch of civil engineering concerned with the application of soil and rock mechanics, engineering geology and other related disciplines to civil engineering design and construction. Coopers provide a tailor made service for sites when assessing the geotechnical requirements of proposed developments.
Coopers incorporate geotechnical appraisals within most projects, whether they are principally associated with structural or environmental requirements, as we believe that a holistic approach to developments is beneficial to the well being of the construction programme. This may take the form of report appraisals, field observations during site visits and reviews of additional data obtained through intrusive investigation work undertaken for environmental issues associated with the site. A correct geotechnical appraisal is essential when considering any structural or environmental project.
Coopers provide extensive geotechnical services for residential, commercial and industrial developments.
